1969 – 2023
Maree has had a very successful career painting happy animal buddies for everyone. Throughout her extensive career, she has received much praise from her avid collectors as well as top prizes in many competitions. Here are just a few of her highlights:
2011 – 2019
2018 – Maree Davidson exhibits at the Royal Melbourne Show for the first time and wins the Silver Award for Specialty Retail Exhibitor
2018 – In conjunction with Jaguar and Land Rover on the Gold Coast, Maree sets record fundraising amount for Guide Dogs Australia, Youngcare, Cancer Council Queensland, MOB (Men of Business) and 4 ASD KIDS
2018 – Exhibits at the Downlands College Art Exhibition in Toowoomba, Queensland
2018 – Exhibits at the Brisbane Royal National Agricultural Show
2018 – Maree Davidson launches their 3rd retail outlet across South-East Queensland at Sunshine Plaza on the Queensland Sunshine Coast, introducing a new range of giftware
2018 – Attended as a major sponsor at the annual Guide Dogs Australia “Ipswich Dine in the Dark” event
2017 – Maree Davidson starts exhibiting within Australia’s largest Westfield Shopping Centre at Chermside, North Brisbane
2017 – Guest Speaker at International Women’s Day, Caboolture, North Brisbane

2016 – In conjunction with BMW and Guide Dogs, Maree Davidson helps raise over $100,000 for several charities. Maree’s original painting breaks the record at Auction for artwork item for Guide Dogs
2015 – Exhibits at Downlands College Art Exhibition, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia
2014 – Featured Artist at Downlands College Art Exhibition in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. The event included over 300 artists, 900 pieces of artwork on display, valued collectively at approximately $1.4 million
2014 – Entrant in the Archibald Prize, Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney, Australia (with a portrait of Daniel Gaudiello – Principal ballet dancer with The Australian Ballet)
2013 – Exhibits at Downlands College Art Exhibition, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia
2013 – Woolworths Australia Charity Race Day. As a sponsor, Maree Davidson in conjunction with Woolworths raises over $15,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Australia

2005 – Maree commences her Nature and Wildlife Art Collection by conducting extensive research and travelling to numerous Australian safaris and reserves
2004 – Maree Davidson Private Art School Brisbane opens with 30 students which quickly grows to 70 regular students
2004 – Attains Diploma in Cartooning, Caricature and Animation through Thomson Education Direct
2003 – Runs Children’s Holiday Workshops at Bunya House in Brisbane, Australia
2002 – Maree paints a portrait of the honourable Yvonne Chapman and receives awards at Bunya House in Brisbane, Australia
2002 – Art Display at Albany Creek Library

1998 – Begins selling commissions and portraits to the public
1980 – Maree regularly attends Art Workshops and Courses
1979 – Graduates school with high achievements in visual arts

1970 – 1974 Maree wins first place several times in the Courier Mail Youth Art Prize
1969 – Maree wins her first art competition (one of many first prizes during her childhood) at 6 years of age
